Internship for Outpatient Clinic Therapist

Our internship is designed to prepare future psychotherapists to work in a psychiatric outpatient clinic setting. The graduate student will be oriented to T.W. Ponessa & Associates Counseling Services expectations regarding: therapeutic services, documentation, supervising, and office ethics.

Through-out the internship the student will be provided with the opportunity to observe and participate in agency activities, including Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services, individual and group therapy, and develop clinical skills from supervision.

The intern is assigned a seasoned therapist for: weekly supervisory meetings, professional work experience with clients, feedback, and evaluations.
