T.W. Ponessa & Associates Counseling Services, Inc. was established in March of 1991 for the effective, dedicated treatment of children with behavioral and emotional disorders. The practice has further developed programs and services offer a variety of mental health services.

More particularly, in October of 1995, the practice expanded to include intensive, in-home services for children, adolescents, and their families. These services are called Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS).
